I'm Currently Feeling:  | How can the DR feel my ovaries???
I'm getting scared now at 6pm i'm having loads of tests done, internal ones. SHe reckons she will check my ovaries, i'm having swabs done to. I'm scared  Anyone had any of this done? XXX |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | hey hun...i dont know what tests shes doing...but they checked my ovaries by just putting her fingers up my woo hoo and then pushing down on my pelvic area....its not too bad she can feel them that way. they might do an ultrasound to look at them as well.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks yeah i'm havng an ultra sound to, but not sure if that will be done today at the gp's office?
Does is take long? Is it worse than a smear? X |

Are these at your doctors surgery? The only way I have had my ovaries looked at is through an internal ultrasound, perhaps they have these facilities where you go? I have had my cervix checked manually (sorry TMI) they just examine it with their fingers, a little uncomfortable as they push it but its not horrible IYKWIM.

| I had mine checked when I went for a routine health check up. It was at a private clinic (which my company pays for). She did it whilst doing my smear. She told me to take a deep breath and then she felt around my pelvic area and said that they felt fine. Not sure if this is the same if you are specifically having them checked but that's what she did for my check up. |
