2nd cycle off pill. First cycle was 34 days long. Ovulated on CD19 - seems easy enough to follow! thought brilliant my cycle is getting back to normal.

Second cycle assumes i'd Ovulated on CD12 as i had lots and lots of EWCM. Did a bot of BDing... then CD18 i noticed a little more EWCM (tiny tiny bit - but also creamy, slippery, white CM - still not much thou) CD19 did OPK and got faint lne. CD21 morning did another and got a dark line (did do CD20 as i was sure i wasn't Ovulating as i thought i already had) CD21 evening did another test and no line at all... couldn't BD till DC22 evening.. what do you think? did i Ovulate when i got first lot of EWCM or 2nd... also when you get a dark line on OPK does that mean you'll ovulate the next day? if so would i have caught Ovulation by 24 hours after getting clear line or not?

You are right in thinking that you O 12-36 hours after a positive OPK so going by that you ovulated on CD21/22. It is possible that you released two eggs that cycle though but to be sure i would use CD21-22 as O day x

thanks... kind of good news because i got a second chance this cycle but bad news as i'm now at the begining of another 2ww... just when you thought you knew what your body was up to it throws a spanner in the works..
