hey ladies i just wanted to update you a little bit on me well im on cycle day 25 of 37 and well my opks are still showing all the same dark color this is day 5 of having the color still there im getting fusterated i did ask a few of my friends to look at them and they say that the sept 9th test seems to be a smudge darker than the rest but why are they still showing that dark of color , i still feel like i have the flu, ( on sunday i got it of last week and its still here im so sick to my belly i can barrely eat with out wanting to vomit ) well i tested with my opk today afternoon time and yep seen the darker line still there i thought after you ovulated the line would fade lighter but not mine there still there . im just geting upset ladies this is my first time i used opks and in the first week of them it was going great all the test where light just like there supposed to be . ahh ladies what am i supposed to do, and on top of it i started getting the worst ovulation pains today im constipated for 3 days now and i hurt so bad my pain pills wont even take it away it feels like my overies are gunna burst and fall off me , i have no cm at all i dried up yesterday . ahh ladies im sorry for such a long vent i just am lost at this point and in pain , thanks ladies wish you all the best ill keep you posted on my if any of you have a clue to my sitution please let me know .

I haven't used any OPK's myself, but from what I read it stays dark if you're pregnant. You can read about it here: Pee On A Stick. As for the extreme pain, I really don't know. Whether it's a prolonged ovulation or a pregnancy, that much pain doesn't sound good =/ Maybe get it checked out by a doctor?

Hopefully there will be someone along with more information soon, I just didn't want to read and run. Hope you'll feel better soon.

thank you hun , i do remeber last month i had about the same pain but i didnt use ovulation test last month so i never realy new if i od our not, it just sucks cuz it hurts on both overies

I think I read somewhere that your OPK's can show color too if you're pg. But because you're having pain I a bit confused too. Definately check on it with your OB, if anything phone the nurse on Monday to see if you should go in. My sis gets horrible pains in her ovaries caused by cysts. They come and go, but usually in the middle of her cycle. *just so I'm not freaking you out.... she has two kids and this hasn't effected her fertility, but it does cause her a lot of pain and she's had them on and off for years. I know everyone gets the kind that bother her, its just that hers don't fall off how they're soposed to instead they pop. Ouch.
Next cycle try tracking your BBT, it should help you a lot if you're going to turn the test pos with every wee. LOL

Hi Lilmom.. My first time using OPKs i had a positive read for a week. So I did a little research and found a couple things. It can stay + for pg, for ovarian cysts, and if you just have a big LH surge it can stay + for a while. Fingers crossed that it's still + for being pg, but the pain makes me wonder about cysts. I don't really know much about OPKs. All I do know is that when I ovulated last month (well I assume it was that), I was in quite a bit of pain and it wasn't really over one side, it seemed to be my whole lower stomach. I was on holiday and didn't feel like going out in the evening because of it. That lasted for a day. I thought it was period pains because I hadn't researched into ovulating at that point but I think I had CM a few days before it. It's so annoying that I can't remember. I didn't realise these were all signs of ovulating so I didn't take much notice. Wish I had. Maybe because you aren't well at the moment that is why your OV pains are so bad, and also because you are constipated. Hope you feel better soon x

hey ladies well the pain only lasted for that day the next day i was fine , im assuming ovulaton , but my o test are still all comming back postive weird, i dont know why i took one today morning ( not fmu) and in late afternoon and both still dark big fat postives and these are from a diffrent internet brand , ahh i realy hope they go to neg soon and on top of it im not realy what sure day to go by now for my ovulation i know my cm is dry and has been for couple day. i dont know ladies i wish all of you the best of luck thanks ladies
