I'm Currently Feeling: | HELP! What's going on in my cycle? Please take a look at my chart and help me out a bit - I'm majorly confused!
I thought I was 6 DPO (on day 18 of what has so far been 24-27 day cycles) and my chart looked pretty clear I thought... I hadn't been recording my OPK results on it as I thought they just weren't working for me, but I have been testing each lunchtime and after school, just in case. So today I tested at lunch, sat there and waited for my negative result - and another line appeared. I did 2 more tests after school, one with one of the higher sensitivity tests I got when I thought the normal ones didn't work, and one with a normal test. Both were also positive OPKs
So that's positive OPKs on day 18... Did I not ovulate earlier this month then? My CM has dried up, although I had been wondering why my cervix still felt quite soft and not completely closed.
This doesn't bode well for a decent length luteal phase, does it? |

| Is the second line that appeared equal to or darker than the first? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yes, very much so! I've never had even a hint of a faint line before so I was really thrown.
PS I've been comparing them to people's in the gallery and they're definitely positive. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Perhaps ovulation is delayed this month? You won't know officially until you finish your cycle and can look retrospectively, of course, but don't worry about your LP until you can see the fuller picture. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Becstar!
I've read somewhere (I'm sure you can google it) that sometimes it gives you a +OPK more than once each cycle and that's just because your body may need to produce more of that hormone (I think it's HCG) and a new surge of that it's recognized by the OPKs. (And sometimes your BBT)
Everyone else is right, the bad thing about TTC is that you can't do anything until your cycle is finished, it's so frustrating! Sometimes you can guess, but just after at least one or two cycles, otherwise it's like walking blindfolded...
Best of luck to you :-) |
