Hey Gabrielle, we all know this feeling! But wonderful though modern medicine is, it wouldn't pick anything up at this stage. If your dates are 19 Aug to 19 Sep, that's a 31 day cycle. On an average Luteal Phase of 14 days you would expect to ovulate on Sep 5th making you just 6dpo at the moment. A lot of eggs don't implant till 10dpo (although it can be as early as six) but you won't get hcg till after implantation. It's only a week till testing now so join the rest of us maniacs in doing whatever you have to do to get through the next week.
