I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls,
Just wanted to let you know that my last cycle was 140 days!! I had positive opk's on CD17 and so I waited and waited and waited......
Apparently our bodies can release the LH hormone for ovulating but sometimes it doesn't actually happen, which is why I got positives and no AF. I think this is common in PCOS, which I don't have. Im currently waiting on a specialist app. |

| my cycle is around 28 days, my last AF was around the 08/08, its now 11/09 and still getting BFN and no AF. Although on the 31/08 i had spotting of a very light pink which then went to brown over a course of 3 days. i assume this was a light bleed a week before AF would have been due. so even though i have missed the witch by 2 days i am still gettin BFN, even though all the symptons are there, ie (nausea, tiredness, swollen abdomen, feelin crabby & emotional, slight dizzines, going off foods, fuller bbs (sorry if TMI) etc) in my experience evry 1 is different, some release HCG after impantation, some release it after and some not till after they have missed AF (like moi) if you are havin any kind of symptons at all then be very positive that you are... a HPT only confirms you are pregnant.. it can still tell you your not when indeed you are and just testin too early, or in my case not enough HCG. when i was pregnant with my daughter 2 yrs ago i got a very faint BFP with a first response HPT... it was approx 3 weeks after i had missed my AF and even then it was faint. when i went to the docs to confirm it, it came up BFN. i was shocked as i had BFP 3 weeks after i missed AF and they got a BFN i couldnt believe it.. any way to cut a long story short i ended up havin at least 2 blood test which showed small levels of HCG and then went on to have a scan and low and behold they found a small gestational sac about the size of a pin head..... which is now my DD. so dont worry..... time will tell...... Babydust all round and gd luck x | | | | Status: Offline
