Ok I bought my CBFM last month from ebay, when I got it I read the instructions and reset the machine (with a stick) and then started using it.

Anyway, I was expecting it to ask for 20 sticks this month, Im currently on day 17 according to the monitor (actually on day 18 though, it didnt arrive in time lol!) and it hasn't asked me for a stick for 2 days now. Got peak on day 15 and 16,had to poas on day 15 but not day 16, and I've just checked and I've actually used exactly 10 sticks. Now I'm wondering if I reset it properly or not (I could have sworn I did),and I'm not sure what to do now - should I reset it again and lose all of what I've put into it this month or carry on with it??

Ooooh I could have sworn I flipping did it properly though, all the symbols came up exactly how it said in the book!

hey hun i'm not an expert but i've got one (from the trial) and personally i'd give the care line a call n see what they say about it, sorry i couldnt be of any more help

Claire, what has happened is normal do not worry. It will EITHER ask for 10 OR 20 tests. Because you had your peak on the 10th stick it no longer requires anymore, as the little machine will always give you 2 peaks then a high then lows. So once it has recognised your 1st peak, it really does not require you to POAS anymore, it just does if you haven't used the full 10 or 20 sticks. This is due to not being able to use sticks from different batchs, or CB trying to get more money from you?
Some people who have used the CBFM for a while will always stop POAS after the first peak as the know what the monitor will tell them after that anyway as it tells everyone the same.

Wow thanks very much for that, it makes sense how you've put it! I knew I'd reset it properly! It must have calculated my peak correctly as I had major positive OPK on Saturday eve (about 5pm) and peak on CBFM Sunday and Monday. Does that sound right?? x

mine only asks for 10 sticks as i get my peak within that, the 2nd PEAK is normally what we call OV day, so sounds about right.

yaaay! Sooooo, next question is, if second peak was yesterday am I 1 DPO or 2 DPO??

when u re-set it did u put an empty test stick in it n all that?? cos i got 2nd hand persona monitor,there same as cbfm,but cheaper (even take same test sticks!)
i didnt re-set mine proper and it asked me for tests from cd8 to cd16 think it was then i found a site where it tells u how 2do it proper....didnt say in my book,nut then suppose they wont want them sellin on 2nd hand!! good luck,buy the sounds of it u donr it right,not like me wasting 8sticks!!
