Question

Question about OPK

So last time i got prego i used opk the first time trying. They were negative and as soon as they went positive they kept being positive untill i found out i was prego..The hpt said negative until i was a week late. i just found it odd that the opk stayed positve. Just curious if anyone knows if opk stay positive if you got prego. I am currently ttc for the first month without opk...but cant stand the waiting period to test...just wondering if i would try a opk to see what it says...dont want to get my hopes up or down....please anyone help me out thanks!!!!!!

I've read that OPK's can be used in place of HPT but that they don't work until you're a couple of weeks late,so not sure really, I suppose everyones different aren't they!

I do belive that opk's stay positive when you are pregnant. However, they can't be a totally a reliable tool. Best use an hpt.

Good luck!

From what I have read.... You can get positive for ovulation and if you get pregnant OPK start to show up positive at around 6dpo. But its different for everyone and every pregnancy is different. Sometimes you can get positives on OPK all cycle and never be pregnant.

Good luck hun
