Hi everyone! For those of you who use OPKs that do *not* have a smiley face, do you typically see a darkening of the test line as you get closer to OV or does it go from nothing/very light to a dark line +OPK? Hoping for a +OPK in the next several days!! JM

I wish I could help you but I just began my pack of OPK's and (First Response, non smiley) have not yet reached the point where mine would change color. However, I have many of the same questions about OPK testing as you. I hope someone can answer your questions for the both of us. Good luck with TTC!

Hi Girls,

I found mine gradually got darker over maybe 3/4/5 days.....I was testing 2 sometimes 3 times a day though so I was sure I caught it!

When I did actually ovulate (or when it detected my lh surge) I never actually got a 'dark as/darker than control line' this was with ic 's from fertility plan on ebay. I only knew that my darkish line was my positive as I backed it up with a cb digi and got a smiley face that day with the same pee.
