I'm Currently Feeling:  |  Possible short LP - I'm worried
This month I started using my CBFM on day 6 but told it it was day 5. Anyway, I have had a peak yesterday and today, day 15 and 16 according to CBFM but actually day 16 and 17. The reason I'm worried is that my cycle is 28 days so if I'm ovulating at the moment then surely that means my LP will be only 10-11 days long - not long enough surely??
I'm a bit worried about this as I had a mc in June and I've read that if your LP is not long enough that this can cause/contribute to mc. Is this right? How long is long enough and is there anything I can do to extend my LP?? Thanks |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | 10-11 is fine they say anything under 10 is bad, but mine is 8 days and i can't get any treatment. XXX |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | 10 days falls within normal range so you should be ok, if you are worried there are lots of herbal remedies such as Vitex Agnus Castus (aka Chasteberry) and Raspberry Leaf tea/ infusion wich can help with luteal phse defects - Dong Quai and Wld Yam are also often said to help.
It's woth doing a bit of research before starting any herbal remedies for this problem though as some are said to also actually cause miscarriage if taken in the very early stages of pregnancy so many people only take then from AF to OV just to be safe. |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | My LP is 11 days and after 2 m/c's I am pg for the 3rd time and hopefully its a sticky this time!
10/11 days is absolutely fine hun.  |

| I increased my lp by about 2 days with vitb6 (50mg going up to 100mg) and am now also popping agnus castus. Am concerned about the m/c thang cos have heard that - jeez, have been ttcing for 11 months. The thought of finally falling pg then miscarrying is terrible! x |
