Negative OVT.

Hello everybody! This is my first post. I wanted to join as we are now TTC our second little one and I've been ghosting this forum for a little while and everyone seems really friendly!

Well month one hasn't gone very well. I've just come of the pill and tried using ovulation tests this month to see how they work. Basically for the whole of my cycle the tests have come up negative! I've tested every day and I've only ever had one little line. I've read the instructions and I seem to be doing everything right. What's going on? Aren't I ovulating?!

The tests I use are the little strip ones that you dip from ebay.

Any ideas what's going on?! I'm a little bit concerned!

Smile

Hi! Welcome to the forum, im quite a newbie too!!

I had the same trouble, I was using the cheap tests from ebay and never got a +ve. Got some advice off here and was told to try Clear Blue Digital Smiley test. It is quite expensive, £22 but you get 7 tests with it and believe me its worth it!! I worked out I should be due to OV any time now. I bought the test today and got a smiley face!! It was definatley worth the money. I did one of the cheap tests too but it came up with a really faint line I could barely see!! keep testing, how long are your cycles usually?? Mine are 28 days and today is CD 15 so im roughly half way through.

xxx

I had the same problem for a while. I was on birth control for 10 years. It took me 3 months to start ovulating.

It could be that the pill has remained in your system for a little while so you aren't ovulating as normal yet. I hope everything sorts itself out quickly for you
