Have I just had a chemical pregnancy?

I had mc in March. Got AF on the 7th of April after DC then on the 7th every month after that, till now. I am now 2 days late with nipples the size of head lights and blue veins ahoy. I would be excited however... I did several HPTs over the weekend which were producing faint lines and seemed to be 'improving' by late Sunday. DH could see it and we were starting to get excited. I woke up at 4.45am this morning to test FMU and was convinced I would see a darker/fatter BFP as all signs seemed to be pointing to yes. A bit disappointted - first test I did had a weird tide mark (think I tilted it) but showed a very faint line. Second test barely registered anything. Did another when I got home from work tonight and nothing, not a bean, not a hint, not a whiff. I have been using the same tests (2 different types) and on the weekend I tested not always using FMU and got a faint line. This would be a chemical pregnancy right? It was there and now appears to be going.

Awhh! Thanks XXX Will test again first thing in the morning but think I have resigned myself to the fact that it is not going to happen this month. Anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Hey hun

Sorry you are getting BFNs.
With my chemical i got faint positives and then got my period a week later - doctor said 80% of first pregnancies end this way which wasn't much help!
If you haven't had AF then it's still looking good so fingers crossed - nice nipple description!!!x
