As you can see ... everyone is very different. I was on bcp for 11 years without a break and it took 10 months to get AF!

I went for ultrasounds to check everything was in working order and it was all fine.

My first cycle was 60 days, then 45 days, 39 days and now finally 30days - so Im hoping ive settled down a bit and should have regular AFs now.

I think I was really unlucky as many seem to have got back into their cycles really easily. My sister came off bcp and had instant regular cycles!

Luck of the draw I guess??!!

I became pregnant straight after coming off the pill. Never had a real period or anything. I was on BCP for 3 years.
