i think it is good to chart as you can see you have od but it wont tell you when you will o it will only tell you 3 days after the temp rise

So when there is a temp rise, does it mean that you've o'd already?
I bought Toni Weschler's 'Taking charge of your fertility' so i'm going to read up on it again xx

I find charting really helpful & got pregnant on my 1st cycle of using FF last time.

It helps you to understand what is happening with your cycle so you can time BDing to give you the highest chance of conceiving, but as tmr1234 said it can be quite frustrating to begin with because you don't get Ov confirmed until 3 days after the event - which is too late to catch the egg!

It's really easy to pick up tho and you should be able to detect a pattern fairly quickly. good luck hun xx

I use FF and I find it very helpful. However I do you TCOYF too. If you have the book, you can go online to www.tcoyf.com and download it for a free 15 day trial. If you do like it then you purchase it for a one time fee of like 20 or 30 dollars. It's nice too. Very similar to FF. I think they are both helpful. We have ben TTC for 16 months and I know it can be very frustrating. We have used FF since October and we have conceived twice since starting FF. Unfortunately we mc both pregnancies, but we are still trying! So I hope this helps you a little. Good luck and bunches of

I thought I o-d on CD14. Then I started charting this month and found that I O on CD16, so I just kept DTD until I saw my temps change. Worked for me.

I only temped for 2 months and got my bfp today!!!
I found it very difficult to take my bbt at the same time every day so chart was erratic but looking at additional signs like CM and CP really helped me understand my cycles.
Another great thing was this cycle when I went past cd31 still with high temps and CP closed tight i kinda knew i could be pg and I am!!!
