How much does a temp rise have to be, to be significant? and are temp rises normal after ovulation even if you are not pregnant? Please help i am confused xxx
So what is the difference? is it that it remains high if you are pregnant? and when does it begin to fall, when af is due? so how can you tell if you are pregnant or not by temping? sorry to sound so thick xx
you can't tell you are pg by temping unless your temp remains high for 18 days or more after OV. The hormone progesterone is working during the 2ww and it is know as the 'hot' hormone and that is why your temp rises. Now some ladies temp drops the day AF arrives, some a day or 2 before and some drop and rise again (sometimes temp is a bit high during AF). We all want our temps to remain high for longer than normal which could indicate pg until you do a test and know for sure.
