I'm Currently Feeling: | You need to stop taking EPO as soon as you O, some people also stop taking angus cactus when they O but others dont. I personnally keep taking it thoughout my cycle. But the bottle for me said take 4 tablets daily and I have started off on just 2 tablets. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I heard that Agnus Cactus should not be taken during pregnancy.....My husband won't let me take it because he thinks it may stay in my system for a while and be bad for a newly conceived baby. Try googling it.... | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Don't know about Agnus Castus, but definitely stop taking EPO after OV as it can make your uterus contract
I know AC is pretty strong so if it were me I would stop taking both at OV.

| I agree that EPO should be stopped immediately after ovulation as it can make the uterus contract.
Agnus Cactus (also known as Vitex and Chaste Tree berry) can be taken the whole way through your cycle although it should NOT be taken during pregnancy. I am using both of these at the moment and will stop the EPO when I ovulate and keep taking the Agnus Cactus until about 3 days before my AF is due. Then start them both again if need be when AF arrives.
I take two 1/2 teaspoons of Chaste Tree Berry (Agnus Cactus/Vitex) tincture every day as recommended by a fully qualified and reputable herbalist. If you are wondering if it is suitable for you, you could do what I did and visit a herbalist and ask for advice. Much better than a pharmacist in my humble opinion. |
