Will everyday around time of ovulation reduce sperm count?

Back in Jan i got after every other day but I had a MMC in April. Now we trying again and everyday we keep getting do you think its best every other day?

That's what they say...to do it every other day. But we're going to do it every day from CD6 to the day after I get a positive OPK.

We did it that way last time TTC and got the first time trying. Like you, I suffered a natural m/c (mid-July).

Do you BBT? OPK? Pre-seed?

No I am just trying to keep relaxed about it and hoping to just let it happen I have thought that for the last 4 months

I told DH we're doing it every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and throw in a Sunday here and there. I'm planning on using pre-seed when I get a dark line on the opk.

I do it everyother day until I get a positive OPK then I do it for three days straight

Im new to this whole thing and after OPKing last month i decided this month would be more relaxed. but with this whole thing being so hit and miss i thought about every day but ive also heard it reduces your chances! every other seams to be the way to go

I have a Zita West guide to getting pregnant book, and she suggests doing it every day leading up to ovulation and that it doesnt reduce the sperm count at all. xx

Something I noticed is that when My husband and I have sex and I don't let him do the deed in me. Not that much sperm comes out compared to us not having sex for like 2 days. It really increases when we don't have sex for 3 days. So maybe the sperm count isn't less per drop of sperm , but there may be just more drops of sperm if you wait every other day....

I guess it is if you prefer to have a little bit of sperm in you at a time or a whole lot of it at one time.....

My plan with OH is to not have sex for 5 days before I think I am going to ovulate then as soon as the ovulation test is positive to have sex and also the day after that and day after that. So at least I know that within 24hours before I ovulate there is a lot of sperm that has a chance. That is the best day to have sex anyway.

I read some statistics about how long sperm normally last and it says only a few hours. It said sperm can last longer like a few days if not more, but that is if you have really superb conditions downstairs and not that many sperm will survive that long still. So you just have to have a really strong lucky sperm and and lot of EGWC.
