Me and my husband have recently started trying for a baby. When I say recently, it was actually 2 weeks 1 day ago. I had come off the pill about a week and a half before and we had only had sex once and a week later (almost exactly I think), I got cramping in my stomach (similar to period pain, but it was in my stomach whereas I usually suffer around my back), I got quite a bit of discharge which I don't usually have, my stomach felt quite sensitive and bloated and I keep needing to go to the loo. I'm planning on getting a pregnancy test soon but I'm not sure if they pick it up this early on.

well, if you've got your already you a very lucky girl!
You can get first response early tests but i think that's only from 5 days before your AF is due.

Well I'm not convinced I am, I'm wondering if it is just the side effects of not taking the pill. The only thing that makes me think I could be is that my friend came off the pill and got pregnant straight away (as did someone else I know) and she said that she could just feel that she was pregnant. And I heard that you are most fertile as soon as you come off the pill.

I got on cd25 of a 26/28 cycle I only did the test as I were hot in the night and waking up which is not like me. Im like a cat sleep anywhere any time

I just did a test and it came out negative. Wasn't surprised really. Probably did the test too early anyway as I don't think my period is due until the end of next week.

I do have one more question though, say you get pregnant the night before your period is due, would you then miss a period?

You can't get prgnant the day before your period. You would only fall pregnant in the 24hrs after ovulation, which is normally 10-14 days before your period is due.
