Confused by My Wifes AF

I'm posting here in the hope of getting some advice on womens things!
She had a very light AF that lasted 10 days that ended just over 2 weeks ago, now the last 3 days she has been getting hints of blood when she has been for a wee, but nothing major, we thought it might be another AF starting, but doesnt seem to be enough for that
she did a pregnancy test beginning of last week but it was a BFN which is fine
but what could be going on, we are trying for a baby and have sex most days unprotected, but dont know about when she ovulates or anything, we dont chart anything just having fun and if it happens it happens!

If she was a few days after ovulation it could possibly be implantation bleeding but as we aren't sure about that I wouldn't want to speculate! Has she recently come of the pill? This can cause irregular cycles. Is she getting any cramps or is it just bleeding. I would probably say see if the bleeding stops, if not may be worth testing again in a few days just to rule out pregnancy.

implantation bleeding? sorry please remeber your talking to a male! womens bodys are a mystery to me!
She came off the implant in july, and was told she would be fertile straight away, so the period after that was her first one. shes said she isnt bleeding today (and sorry if this is graphic!) but she has a thicker then normal discharge? She hasnt complained of any stomach cramps, but then she isnt bothered by discomfort and wouldnt have mentioned it if she had! (awkward women!)

Oh Saturn! Women's bodies are a mystery to most of us - even us women! who knows what the hell goes on down there?!

This could be implantation bleeding - this sometimes happens 6 to 12 days after the egg has been fertilised. Basically its the fertilised egg attaching itself to the uterus. It does sound like this could be viable with the timescales you have given. Which would mean your wife is very very early pregnant!!

HOWEVER! Dr's always tell you when you come off birth control that you will be super fertile and everything will go back to normal.... errrr.... yeah right! Not sure i've met many women on here who can say that's been the case!! Most women (myself included) have anything from a few weeks to a few months to years of their bodies being a bit screwed up and periods all over the place.

All you can do really is wait and see what happens. If bleeding has stopped and she hasn't had a period in next two weeks then test, test, test!!

If the blood is in the urine this could also be a sign of infection, maybe get her to go to the Dr's just to be sure!

For early pregnancy? The list is endless, if you go to a thread on here called Early Pregnancy Symptoms then it will show you other peoples early symptoms.

As Coffee said BCP can play havoc for a little while and you can have irregular bleeding for a while until your body dettles down. Hopefully it is implantation bleeding though! We like to be ever optimistic!!
