6 weeks and still no positive urine test

Hi, i'm new here, my name is April. My husband and i have been TTC for about 6 months now and i think we're pregnant. My hangup is that it's been 6 weeks since the first day of my last period and my urine tests are negative. I've tried the Answers brand and some cheap dollar store brand(i went cheap because i was buying them ten at a time.) I'm really anxious to find out, and have a doctors appointment for a blood test in two days. I was wondering if anyone has experienced a simlar situation and could give me some feedback. Thanks!

Hi there April. I am new here as well, and ttc my 1st. could if be that your AF is late. I have been two weeks late before and thought I was pregnant. Good luck though. Try not to get to excited (the disappointment is to much sometimes).

Good luck though...I hope the blood test gives you all you want.

Hi there hun

You see, it all depends when you Ovulated (O'd)....

You may have only O'd recently, so that will make you get s.
You need to be at leat 10 days past O (DPO) before you get a .....
I was 13 DPO when I got a ...

If you want to learn more about O etc- give it a google....

You can always go for a blood test to get a definate test result...

hi hun i was in a simmilar situation a while ago it was over 7 weeks since the first day of last af and it was discovered that what stopped af was a 5 an half centimeter cyst on 1 of my ovarys so much pain when i actually did recieve af though. hopefully this is not the case with u i hope u get ur bfp hun just thought id tell u what happend when it happend to me dont mean at al to put a downer on it good luck hun
