Hi girls, for the past 19 month my OH & I have been trying for baby number two, i've never ever had the EWCM. I did always check around ovulation but never had any. However, this month for the past two days i've had loads of it, so was just wondering how long after EWCM does ovulation occur (approx?) sorry if i sound abit dumb but like i said i've never had it before.

It varies sweetie, we had a discussion about this the other day some girls were saying they had it for 5 days over ovulation time, others like myself have it for JUST the day of ovulation, everyone is different hun, but you can normally assume that once you see it, you are ovulating, but not always!

Just a recommendation if you don't get EWCM, try pre-seed! It worked for us the first time we TTC. Unfortunately, I had a natural m/c in mid-July - but you can bet we used it again this try!

I tried pre-seed for a good few month, like you i miscarried in april, i continued to use it but nothing happened after so we are trying natural for a while.

I think it varies from woman to woman. Sometimes, I have it for a few days and other cycles none at all.
