Right well i am a little miffed at the moment..... My periods are usually very heavy and in full heavy flow for around 7 days(since the age of 11),
Now i am on CD5 of my 2nd AF since coming off the pill and its all very different this month.
The 1st day was just spotting, 2nd day was light, 3rd day was medium to heavy, yesterday was very light, and today is just when i wipe but nothing on my towel.
Is this normal after coming off the pill? I have never experienced this with my periods and am a bit confused by it. Also my cramps have hardly bothered me this time which is very unusual for me. Last month was horrendous but what i class as "normal" for me.

So girls have any of you had very different AF's than you usually have after coming off the pill?

I came off the pill at the beginning of May and mine pretty much went to how they were before bcp, but not everyone's the same, don't forget it can take a few months for your cycles to get back to 'normal' and they might be a bit weird in the beginning hun

Thanks porkypig, Everytime i have come off the pill they usually slot back to how they were before! I have never ever had a bleed this light in my life lol

That thought crossed my mind but i dont know how long IB lasts and when it occurs! I always assumed IB was pure spotting with no actual flow... Hmmm i am baffled lol

Doesn't it occur the same time that af is due? You never know, i'd give it a week and then maybe take a hpt xxxxxxx

Hey hun, this happened to me yeah. My first AF after the pill was really heavy and painful (not usual for me) and then second one was only three days and really light with no pain. So definately think its the hormones trying to get out of my system. Just waiting to see what next one will be like, hope ur ok xxxx

Last month was my 1st natural AF off the pill and was totally normal for me (heavy and non stop) So this month has really been odd for me, last year my Dr diagnosed me with menorrhagia and said my lining was too thick?! so i am pretty sure its not that my lining is thin. Maybe i am just gonna have some luck and shorter periods from now on!

My AF's differed a lot after coming off BCP, they went from light to heavy to light and from short to long and back again
They have settled down now but they were a bit odd for a few months while my body adjusted to real 'periods' rather than withdrawal bleeds..
