can you drink decaffeinated coffee while TTC?

I've heard that you shouldn't drink coffee while TTC as it can reduce your fertility but I love it so much! I've converted to decaffeinated coffee and only have a cup or two a day. Do you think this is ok? I know it still has a bit of caffeine in it.

I think it's fine. I'm a huge caffeine addict but haven't been able to take myself off the caffeine. I'mjust planning on going cold turkey once I get my bfp. lol Good for you for starting early!!

I rely on coffee to wake me up in the morning, especially seeing as im not sleeping at the moment, I dont mind giving up alcohol but not coffee too lol

thats good to know! I have to say I may have given up real coffee but giving up beer is another thing altogether so I don't deserve any praise! I can't go tee total for 2 weeks every month!

I love to watch pregnancy shows esp. informational ones. I saw that its ok to have one cup of caffine while pregnant! And That you can have up to two cups of caffine while ttc.

Only up to 2?? Oh goodness - I should really cut down then. I drink about 11 cups!

Not 11 cups of coffee though lol - 11 cups of diet pepsi and iced tea. lol

I have about 2 drinks with caffeine a day...the rest is decaf. I will admit to drinking though..but thats because i think a little of what you fancy.... etc. Also, i dont wanna give up completely on having a normal life just because im ttc. Kudos to those who do though

I was also told by my doc that its ok as long as its within reason. I would naturally not do anything while pg though and didnt.
