how long after conceiving does it occur?
does it need to be more like a period or can it be 'just' spotting when wiping?

probably raising my hopes up farrrr too much but although i had what was more like ovulation spotting i am still clinging onto that it could be implantation.

last fri i had blood when wiping in the morning and some cm which was pinkish with one wipe in the afternoon and since then nothing.

we bd'd on the sun and the tues and the bleeding happened on the fri after so would of only been 5 or 3 days after bd'ing so not even conceiving as that can take up to 3 days later

your thoughts? implantation or ov spotting?

Hiya,

implantation usually occurs no earlier than 5 days after ovulation. It can be later than that but as a rule it takes the embryo about a week to travel down the fallopian tube and implant in the womb. This is why most women dont have any pg symptoms early on as the egg has to implant for the pg hormone to be secreted into your body.

Implantation bleed is rare but not uncommon. It is more often reported as a slight spotting you see when you wipe or a pink cm..not a proper bleed.
