Well looks like the has got me yet again!!
So now onto the 8th cycle of trying - get really despondent with this all now and beginning to wonder if its worth all this heartache.
As you can probably tell I'm feeling a bit down today!
Have got an appointment at the Doctors for next Tuesday to find out about fertility tests etc so hopefully then we might get some answers as to whats going on and why its not happening for us at the moment.
I conceived my son with my ex straight away, no problems and my dh conceived his 3 children with his 2 exs straight away with no problems as well so that makes it even harder to cope with it being so difficult for us!

Try not to get too down hearted about it (easier said than done I know). See what the doc has to say.

I know exactly how you feel, i am over 3 years ttc, and i fell pregnant with the boys not a prob wiht my ex, and hubby has a daughter with his ex, but i just cant fall with hubby...

So sorry hun, she got me yesterday too...We gotta give it our everything to catch next month, I got my ovulation tests and pre-seed at the ready.

I know its hard and with all these hormones you are bound to feel like shit but yeah, chocs and a take away and a good film always makes me feel better.

I was a week late last cycle and the doc did a pregnancy blood test for me then (af got me while waiting for the result!!) but the doc did say then that as I am over 30 and we have been trying for over 6 months then they will arrange fetility tests etc for us!!


I've just been on ebay and am bidding on a bbt thermometer as I haven't tried that route yet so will give that a try - still have some opks left from last cycle so will use them as well!

Its probably for the best that we didn't manage it this cycle as dh is running the London marathon next year and if we had conceived this time then i would have been due around the day of the marathon which wouldn't have been great!!!!
