Hi

I have been temping and using OPK's this month. I had temp dip around CD17 which increased steadily, so I initially thought I ov on CD17 but I didn't get a positive OPK until CD19 so ff detected ov on CD19.

Which date should I go by? I've left in my OPK result so I am now 7DPO but should I take the OPK test result out and take CD17 as my ov date which would mean I am 9DPO? Which is more reliable - OPK or temp?

Hi, was the OPK test line as dark as the control line? Either way i would go with ur temps and FF as ur temp tells u once u have O. OPK tell u ur about to, there is also a chance ur body will gear upto O and it not happen, it can happen a few days later, which would explain this. Good luck, hope u caught the eggie. XXX

I think maybe you should go with the second one, since one low temp really could be due to external factors as well. Hope you have your bases covered by BDing close to both days though?

Yes, part of the test line was as dark as the control (it had dark edges which apparently means it's positive).

So confused now. Should I stick with the OPK or go with the temp?

Thanks. That means I am now 9DPO rather than 7DPO. When do you think is realistic to test?

Sorry i mean the temp rises above your base line, that FF called O. You are 7 DPO from my opinion. When is AF due?

According to ff AF is due 28th Aug. I had a mc 4 weeks ago so who knows when it will arrive, but I am hoping my body won't be too badly affected by it. If I take the OPK result off ff, it predicts ovulation on CD 17. Should I leave the OPK result in and still take ov on CD19, therefore 7DPO?

This is so confusing.
