Hi there

I am wondering if any of you lovely ladies can answer my questions, this is really my first month of proper trying, I say proper as before it was just if it happens it happens, but because it hasnt happened the way i thought it would i am now getting obsessed with OMG i cant have Kids... so out i go and buy OPKs (which i have never used before) spend my whole spare time on the internet checking with whats wrong with me (drastic i know)!!! its only been a couple of months!!! anyway, my question is my period started on the 6th August but was light spotting, then on the 9th the usual pains and gushing blood (sorry if TMI) but i have really heavy periods, so my question is do i count the 6th as the first day of my period of the 9th??? any answers greatfully receivied!!!

i think 9th..I hear that you should count your first day of full flow as cycle day 1...thats my opinion anyway

Yeah, I agree. The first day of full 'flow' is counted as Day 1.

Good luck TTC and what you are describing is fairly normal behaviour for TTCers. I always admire those who are very calm and philosophical about the process because I am anything but!
