Not sure if this is true but sure someone told me it's not so much the laptop that's the problem, but it's if you have wireless connection to the internet, that it emits waves (or whatever they are called!) that are similar to using a mobile. May be no truth in this though

It's not the emissions of the laptop or the wireless, it's just the physical heat from the bottom of the laptop, which reduces the mobility of sperm and / or kills them.

It's okay to use a laptop still - just pop it on a thick pillow or don't let him put it on his lap

Not as easy to balance on knees!

its also the heat from the oh's legs being close together that heats the swimmers up as well as the laptop

like everyone else i never heard of this before.. i lived on my laptop whilst pregnant with jacob. When i was off waiting to have him i would be on it about 10 hours a day! bored stupid... i do get a sharp, hot sting from the bottom of my laptop on my legs when i'm wearing shorts thou! so i just put the laptop on a pillow..

After reading about the laptop on men's laps i always make sure DH puts a cushion on his lap now just in case x x x
