Any started a hope chest? Or is it bad luck?

I bought two of the sweetest sleeper sets today - yellow of course. They were so adorable. I have not had the urge to buy things before today - but these came home with me. Anyone else have anything tucked away? What are your feelings about this?

I have so much stuff put away you'd think I was preparing for a football team of babies! I don't care about bad luck, it's just not financially possible to buy it all in one hit. The fact that I'll be off work will be bad enough, let alone halving our income and then having to buy everything we possibly need.

I have hand knitted things from my mother who wanted to leave me things now incase she wasn't around for us when I fell. I also have furniture, clothing, prams, car seats, cot. Two things I probably need to buy are a change table and those novelty play matts (my friends swear buy them)

So....Either this is the reason I've not got a baby in 3 years of trying.
Or....I'm going to have a stress free pregnancy when it does finally happen

So glad to see that I am not the only one. Are you buying yellows and greens? Or are you praying for pink or blue?! Ha. The two yellow sets I bought today were just adorable - but let me tell ya - I had a hard time putting the pink back on the shelf.

I only have one little tshirt. Couldn't resist it. It has a monkey on it and says 'cheeky monkey'.

I know I'll go on a spending spree as soon as I get my though!!!

I'm right there with you! I have bought loads of bits and pieces:
clothes 0 - 9 months
bedding
moses basket and stand
travel cot (as my mum is looking after bubs when i go back to work part time)
toys
mobile

but no big items yet - i want to hold off a little longer.

I've started to learn to crochet an extra hobby to take my mind off ttc but also helps with making blankets and stuff to save some pennies too!

Anna x
