I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sure I read somewhere that if you have a LP of less than 10 days, you can get some drugs from the dr to help increase your LP.
I'm sure some of the ladies on here will shed more light on it.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Daisy,
I think its because it doesn't give the egg long enough to safely implant itself to the lining of the womb, therefore resulting in an unsuccessful pregnancy even if the egg was fertilised. Anything less that 10 days is too short period of time for this to happen. Hope that helps xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | yeah as annaspanna said, doesn't allow time for the egg to implant before its lost with the lining of your womb so it could be that you can concieve but would never know as you will lose the egg before a pg test says positive. Not all Gp's etc believe in Luteal Phase Defect but im convinced thats what wrong with me, a cd21 test by your GP will confirm it or not |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Daisy, I just wanna reassure you it definately isn't all bad news!! It prevents some women from conceiving as it doesn't give the body time to creates the hormones to stop the af occuring. This means the egg doesn't alwasy implant and can be washed out with the af.
However, I have said this before on other threads my lp was only 7-9 days and I have conceived 3 times this year. My m/c have been nothing to do with it. It means for me that I get my first af in pregnancy so I usually don't find out that I'm pregnant until about 6-8 weeks. Because I just think I'm not I'm not. You can get help from the Dr's but it isn't all bad news hun |
