I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi girls, has got me which gives me a LP of 9 days. I'm taking action, any advice on how to lengthen it would be great. I'm not getting down about this, i've just been set back a few weeks, so i'm going out to get some wine and anythig u girls reckon may help lengthen my LP. Also going to order some pre seed, so this is it, this cycle is MY cycle i'm taking charge. This is that last time i'm going to see that rancid old for 9 months. Thanks for all ur support it's been such a help. XXX |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You need to change your chart and if AF arrived today, today will be CD1 and your LP for last cycle will be 8. Sorry! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I too suffer LPD, and am doing what I ca to rectify it naturallly. I take 1000mg Evening primrose oil and have up'd my B6 levels (on top of the regular pre-conception vitamins)
I found this a few days ago....its a fascinating article about LPD, why it happens and Eastern methods of rectification. Not something I have yet tried, but it certainly makes a lot of sense, and left me with a lot of food for thought. http://www.acudenver.com/articles/ArticlesRL8.pdf |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm back, been to holland and barrets picked up B100 vitamin B complex and B6. The guy told me i don't need both as there is 100mg of B6 in the complex. Ordering my pre seed in a bit, phoning docs in the mornign for an appoitment. Also phoning clear blue, who tole me to call if my next cycle was between 21 and something days, if they have any left i can be on the trial Bought 2 bottles of Cabernet Sauvingnon and some clothes while i was out to Not feeling as positive as earlier but i'm taking control of my situation.
Oh i just realised that if all goes well this cycle bubs will be born at the end of May, i was so upset thinking i had missed May, cos we always wanted a May baby. DH and i are May babies, and we got married in May so it's an uber special month, which i hope to make more special next year.
Good luck girls!!! |

| Good luck! If you do want to chat about LP with your dr, go armed with some print outs from the net about it cos they beleive it's an urban myth, despite all the evidence to the contrary! x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Glad you started this one Daisy as I went to the doctors last Monday with exactly this.
She categorically told me that as long as you get ovulation symptoms (i.e pain) and a surge on OPK (and obviously you ovulate), ladies with short luteal phases should have no problem in getting pregnant.
I am down to an average of 10 day LP with an average of a 24 day cycle.
So all the stuff I have googled about short luteal phases and defects are crap! |

To me from what i have read i would say you should go and ask to see another doctor. My sister is a vet (i know she isn't a doctor) but she knows how these things work, as soon as i mentioned i had a shoet LP she knew all about it and said there is hormones that can help. Hope we both get this sorted. X |
