Anyone got any pics of a positive OPK?

Hi There

I am on my first month of using cheap OPKs on my 2nd cycle after BCP. My first cycle was 47 days and I have no idea when I ovulated. My cycle was 28 days before BCP but that was 10 yrs ago! I am now on CD13 and have been testing using cheap OPKs since CD 7. Each time I have been getting two lines one much lighter than the other and the instructions say this is negative, I was just wondering how dark the line has to go before I know I am ovulating.

I was also wondering that when I do get a positive OPK when is the best time to do the business! I test in the afternoon so should I do it that evening or the following morning? or the following evening?

The test line should be as dark or darker than the control line. You usually ovulate 12-36 hrs after your LH Surge (+opk) so the day you get the pos test and the day after are the best times to BD.

I done one this morn as I had a mc 2 weeks ago to see if the hormone levels have left my system, which they havent, the line that appears is much darker than the other, if it is lighter then the test is neg, sorry I threw it out already , good luck xx

Thought I'd cracked opk's after this, but haven't even had a close one since!

The surge can happen very fast, if you pee at the wrong time, you can miss it!
