| So has anyone had anything similar? I am 23 days late for my period i've been to the doctors to make sure everything is ok and shes told me to go home and take a pregnancy test. I told her i took one 10 days ago and it was negative so was there any point. Has anyone else took a test when they were 13 days late and it came back negative then took another one 10 days after and it's been positive?
She said if it's negative and i don't get my period in 2 weeks i have to go back for tests. I think taking a test is a waste of time/money as one was negative 10 days ago. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Know how you feel! I'm currently 17 days late for mine, i think on last count. always regular 30-32 day cycle. Doctor sent off urine sample and came back negative on tues which was cd45. So what else can we do? Don't know how anyone can say do more tests because it should be showing up if we were PG???
BEst of Luck, hope you get some answers |

| I'm on day 52 and they want me to wait another 2 weeks which will take me to day 66 which before i make an appointment to go back for tests. Apparently my cycle is normal every 30 days(ish).
I guess i'll just have to wait and see what happens. I just think it's silly shes asked me to take another test when i took one 10 days ago. She said it can take up to 4 weeks after a missed period to show. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can't believe the doctor didn't offer to test you there. Sorry it's so frustrating for you, hope it sorts itself out. XXX |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You should do another test because it may have been too early to show positive 10 days ago but may show by now if you are pg.
Good luck! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hello hun, this must be very frustrating for you! But i just wanted to let you know that I was 6 weeks and 6 days before I could get a positive HPT with both my children! Very odd that conception took place on the same day, I was due my AF on the same day, I got a positive HPT on the same day and I was due them both on the same day, the only difference was that it was 3 years apart! LOL! So it can take a while to get a positive result, I hope the Dr gets to the bottom of it for you hun! |

| Well i thought i'd bite the bullet and take the test this morning and as i thought it came back negative. I don't actually feel pregnant although i've never been pregnant so don't know what it feels like.
I forgot to mention the doctor asked me to lay on the bed while she pushed and prodded my stomach and she said it felt tense but i have no idea what she meant by that. I have no signs of my period coming anytime soon so i guess i'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next 2 weeks. If it doesn't come i'll make an appointment to see her and she said she'd do blood tests to make sure everythings ok. It's such a waiting game!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | If she is pushing your stomach she could be feeling for signs of a cyst which can delay a period, if you start having pains but no AF go straight to docs x I have had 3 rupture in the past and it was horrendous. Sure this is not what you have but just a warning just in case.
PS A lot of small cysts eventually disperse on their own with no pain and then life can go back to normal x |
