My cycle is all over the place this month probably due to mc a couple of weeks ago. I am taking temps and using OPK's and so far nothing has happened - my temp might be gradually increasing but still only getting faint lines on OPK's. For the last couple of days I have been experiencing cramping pains and they're more noticeable than normal. Almost like a dull back ache too which I don't think I've had before.

Are these ovulation pains? Should I therefore expect to ovulate in the next couple of days?

i get definate ovulation pains.. i get egg whites and then a dull ache quite low down. Sometime in my back too. Very similar to period pains but maybe even lower down. They start on one side (my right side) then through the day it's kinda middle area (as low as pelvic bone)

It sounds like you are experiencing ovulation pain. I get the backache as well.

Fingers crossed then. I have been having a little ewcm but not much but I don't remember having very much of it in my last few cycles (something to do with age?!). The back ache is quite uncomfortable but it helps when I walk around. It's a lot like AF pain so hopefully I am ovulating.

EWCM is a very good sign that ovulation is approaching!!

hi there, very new to the site (just joined tonight as we are currently trying for our 2nd child!)

have been charting my ovulation for the past 6 months so that it might help us conceive (weve just started trying this month!)

noticed that i have 2 days of clear discharge (enough to have to wear a panty liner other wise it feels like ive wet myself!) and then i get the pain kick in on alternate sides each month. im lucky it only lasts a few hours but its certainly enough to take your breath away and paracetamol wont do the trick. thankfully the pain does go usually by the following day but i do find i have alot of trapped wind afterwards - anyone else experiencing that too?

i was ovulating (according to my knowledge plus what the ov stick said) yesterday and monday - so after dragging my hubbie to bed for an 'early night' im hoping it might just have worked. fingers crossed heh!

its funny - until that desire to have a child kicks in you never really notice how your body works. it amazes me just what it can do.
