I'm Currently Feeling: | Do you find lying to people really hard? I really don't want people to know i am TTC. I've told a couple of close friends, that's it. In particular i don't want work colleagues to know.
I'm finding the lies harder and harder though as time goes by. Not just the lies in response to the neverending "when are you having kids" questions that you innevitably seem to get after getting married. But recently its been even more difficult as i have been a bit depressed by the whole TTC thing and my friends seem to have really picked up on the fact that i am not my usual self. I told a little white lie and said i was just miserable with work and wanted to change jobs (well, not a complete lie, to be honest). Think i just made things even worse though now as my well-intentioned colleagues keep trying to come up with ways to fix my problems, when really i want to scream "No, i'm fine, i just want a baby"!!!! Anyone got any sneaky answers?! What do you tell people to put them off the scent without making things worse?!
One of my work colleagues pulled me aside this morning to say she was getting really worried about me, as i clearly wasn't happy. Eeeeek! It was horrible as i just don't want them to know the real reason for me being unhappy!!! what do i say to people??!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | ah hun.... i always use the old faithful - just having a bad day or i blame af! We havent told anyone this time either and people still ask if we are going to have another baby etc. it is really hard chick - but there will always be people asking questions......whether you tell them you are ttc or not. I prefer the questoins about me being in a bad mood to the "so...are you pg yet?" that i used to get when ttc for ds. that used to make me burst into tears infront of everyone. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know what a nightmare, my biggest issue is not drinking everyone knows i LOVE a drink. I have even used the excuss for not drinking that i'm on antibiotics from the dentist for my wisdom teeth. I know you can't drink on them as i do have probs and been on them before. It's hard tho when a close friend is a doctor, he was like let me see ur infected tooth I had to tell him it had cleared but i had to take them a few more days |

Feeling extremely hormonal at the moment, like i could just cry any minute (been a few tears these last couple of days!). I want people to stop commenting as i have felt close to breaking down in tears a couple of times today already! I am sure people must be wondering what the hell is going on between me and DH at the moment!! probably think our marriage is breaking down or something as i seem miserable all the time!!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah, I would just go with being in a bad mood or having a bad AF. I'm sorry you're so down about this. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My fob-off Excuses are as follows:
Sorry, just tired, Didn't sleep well
Having a hard time with ............, getting a bit fed up with it, but don't want to discuss it but thanks for asking
Getting over a cold
Had a bad takeaway, won't go there again.
My Excuses for why aren't you trying for a family yet:
We're like ships passing in the wind (sometimes i hardly see oh due to work commitments (both of us work away often))
Like to hand them back
What do i need a baby for, i've got a career
Yes, I know we've been married for three years and we enjoy life as it is, why change it?
Go 'Yuck' when others around you go mushy over colleagues baby.
luckily i don't see my work colleagues very often, as I work from home and head office is in Cornwall (5.5 hours drive away) so I don't have to deal with them pressing for information but friends and family do bug me alot at times! |

| Sorry, I regulary cringe around other peoples babies. especially if i know family and friends are around. I am getting mushy behind closed doors though - can't help it even oh is getting broody.
I really can't be doing with the grief i get from them about it! granted they are excited by the prospect of me having children but it's all the questions and comments i can't take! |
