TTC after M/C - positive OPK or AF first???

Hi everyone.

I had a natural m/c on 16 July, so that makes me on CD22 right now. Bleeding has basically halted. Yesterday's ultrasound looked good. Just a little lining left to go.

I have been taking OPK's, but they have all been negative. HPTs have also been negative for the last week.

Wondering if I should be expecting a positive OPK soon...or just AF.

Any experiences out there where the bleeding lasted a long time after a natural m/c?

I say I want to wait until after one normal AF first, but if a positive OPK still has a chance to show up first - well, we might just go for it!

hi, i had a natural m/c on monday and was gonna ask the same thing, how long did you bleed for?
also how do we know when period will come and will ovulation be all over the place and unpredictable?
have you any other children ?
this was my first pregnancy and 1st and lat m/c i hope.

So sorry for your losses. It is so cruel.

I had a natural mc. Started on 25th July and I bled for 7 days. I don't think it's easy to predict when you will ovulate as your cycle might be all over the place afterwards. I am keen to ttc again and so am looking for tell tale signs of ovulation, but not sure when it's going to happen.

My dr told me I could expect to get my period between 4-6 weeks after my mc, so I am taking the first day of my mc as my period. I know it sounds so clinical but that really is all I have to go on.

the bleeding after my m/c lasted almost 10 days. AF came exactly 1 month after m/c
I hope everything returns to normal as soon as possible!
