OK I took clomid from CD2 - CD6, i know this can effect CM so took EPO from CD1, was quite confident that i was still get CM but yesterday it packed its bags and took off .

Does this mean that my body will kill off all the little spermies so i won't be able to get pregnant this cycle?

Also can you have days with no CM and then it come back again?

I hate TTC when you have days like this, it feels like the world is collapsing when one little thing goes wrong.... ok sorry maybe a bit dramatic!!

Morning Krissi, I don't think so. I have a really good book, it's one of the cheaper ones about £5, called 'The Fastest Way to Get Pregnant Naturally: The Latest Information on Conceiving a Healthy Baby on Your Timetable' by Christopher Williams (I found it better than Zita Wests) and that makes ref to no EWCM and instead using veg oil or a sperm friendly lubricant, ie preseed. It's all about creating the right environment for the sperm to get to the egg on their journey. So no, don't count yourself out. Have you tried preseed? It is great and so many BFP's over past few months from ladies who used it that 1st cycle.

I did want to order it but I don't have debit cards so its a bit akward to ask a friend to order me something like that. Not really a conversation i want to have with someone who is not TTC!!

Veg Oil!!!! How does that work... eewww that would be messy!! OH would think i was about to shallow fry his bits if i took that to the bedroom!!

my thoughts exactly. Make sure it is fresh, ie.. not from the deep fat fryer Suppose it just instead of a lubricant, think my OH would order me out of the bedroom though if I came near him with it - having said all that if you can't get preseed and needs must...................

i have the same problem i have only had the ewcm that you read about once and that was whilst i was on the pill. since stopping about 7 months ago i havnt had it once i only get slimy cm (sorry to be gross) half way through cycle and maybe thats why ive not gotten pregnant in 5 months?. and its there some days dries up then comes back ten fold, so who knows our bodies are crazy. good luck to all ttc

Hi Sweetie, I just wanted to let you know I rarely get EWCM - and i have had a BFP and plenty of positive OPK's. So try not to let it stress you too much, you have enough to worry about!

I would recommend Preseed too. I love that stuff and it makes BD so much eaiser when you have to on demand!
