Hi all, was wondering if any of you could give me some advice. This was my first month using CBFM and I had HIGHS for quite a few days, then it went back to low around day 26 without me getting a peak.

Im now on day 36 (I THINK!) and just thought I'd POAS (the sticks from CBFM) and the lines were almost exactly the same colour. Obviously I didnt put into monitor as it isnt asking for any tests any more.

So......does this mean Im Ov-ing now? Or not? I know it says not to read the lines and ur supposed to use FMU but couldnt help myself. My cycles are a bit all over the place and tend to be quite long so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm, you could be Ov'ing now. When I got my peak, the lines were pretty close in color. So I say get to Bding!

You could be ovulating....I say BD

BUT....and its only a BUT...

When I got my I used an opk and it gave two lines...so maybe a preggy test just incase thats whats being picked up??

Hopefully you either have caught that eggy or its time to catch it!

COULD YOU BE PG? normally the lines are opposite for a PEAK look in ovulation and Pregnancy test gallery as i've recently posted my PEAK there.

Ah, Thanks Ladies....had a look at your peak tests and mine doesnt look anything like that so doesnt look like Im oV-ing (still going to BD anyway! ) Its just so frustrating that I dont know where I am in my cycle...i did a preg test yesterday and BFN but later got an Evap line...god i hate those things!
Looks like a case of sitting and waiting.....feels like its never going to happen its so frustrating!

Hi LoraLoo, CBEFM sticks does not work like a regular OPK. One line is for estrogen and one line is for LH surge. For your estrogen to be high, that line is suppose to be lighter. LH surge is your second line and that is suppose to be dark for a positive reading. When your FM dropped you down at CD26, that because it assumed you are starting your AF. CBFM only asks you to test 20 sticks max in a month (CD6-25). Since this is your first month using the monitor, it is still learning your cycle.

I have long cycles and I had trouble using the FM at first. The latest it started testing was CD9-28 but since I sometimes ovulate on CD30-35 it was missing my ovulation. If you have long cycles, I would set my CD1 later so it can tests later on in your cycle.

Because you have two lines - one LH and one estrogen, the estrogen gets lighter the nearer to OV and the LH gets darker nearer to OV. So i don't know how you can get two dark ones - mine are always opposite?

I will try and post a pic in the morning- neither lines are really, really dark, but they seem to be equal in colour, but then that happened when i was having highs too? Not every day, but on a couple of days- how confusing! Im just dont want to miss Ovulation if it hasnt happened already-my last cycle was 9 weeks! Still- at least now I know what im looking out for on the tests, Thank you! xxxxx
