How late are you now? sometimes my cycles have been quite bonkers but that has always been because i have ov'd late? once i have gotten my smiley face i always know pretty much that 14 days from that day af will be due but everyone is different.
Hope you get some answers soon hun - sorry i can't be any use to you.
you just never know though you know - hcg levels might just not be high enough to register yet. what kind of hpt did you use? I didn't get a pos with ds until i was almost 2 weeks late! I was 6 weeks pregnant and didn't even know. God, now we are ttc again i want to know the minute i think i might've had implantation!!!!
Thanks ever so much. I think i'm just having a bad day today! The this morning really upset me, even though i totally expected it.
I used an internet pg test this morning - but it is a 10ml/u one so you would think it would show up?
I plan to start using OPK's next cycle. I've been good and held out over a year from using anything like that as i so wanted to keep it all natural and stuff but i need to try and suss out what's going on down there i think! If it's still no clearer then it will have to be a trip to the docs for me i guess. Just want the to come now so i can start again with a new cycle!!
It's so hard when you want something so much isn't it, you just about cope with this whole stupid thing and then something like a late AF can just tip you over the edge into "can't cope" territory!

oh yes - i have been over the edge and climbed back up many times!! We had a break from it all last month after the mc but this month is our first again. trying to be positive and have promised not to test early. fingers crossed. I don't see why all our cycles can't just remain the same - it is so confusing and bloody devastating when it happens like this. Chin up though - try and relax and hopefully a is just round the corner.
I would go to the docs anyway you know - it will put your mind at rest at the very least and possibly help you relax. I know it did the trick for me.
I really hope that the internet cheapie was wrong and that this is it for you hun.

So many things can delay AF. Stress (that's a huge one), travel, gaining or losing a large amount of weight, vigorous exercise, etc.

Thanks for this. This is what is confusing me though - i haven't done anything different these last couple of months, everything is exactly the same! I think i am OV-ing at the same time. I don't chart but i do take notice of my body and i am still getting the exact same OV pains i usually do, at exactly the same time every month - around CD 18 / 19. My AF cramps start at exactly the same time still - CD 30 usually. BUT, rather than getting AF on CD 33 after 3 days of cramping (like usual) my body just continues to cramp but doesnt show. Last cycle was 8 days late, so was cramping for around 12 days every single flaming day until the old hag came. This cycle been cramping for about a week now and still no .
I just can't work out what the hell is making so late. It doesn't seem like a late Ov to me?
I could write last cycle off as a freak cycle, but now its happening again i just really don't know why and its so confusing and frustrating!

Hey hon, have PM'd you but wanted 2 reply here too. Sorry you're going thru this AGAIN this month. I hope there's a good reason for it (eg, you're pregnant) and even if not, try not to worry (ha! Ark at me, the ultimate worrier!). I've noticed that my AF has gone a bit wacky since starting to try, it's not fair.

Anyway, I think I told u last week that there's evidence that your menstrual cycle changes every decade, am trying to find the info, mebbe this is what's happening 2 u?

Or you could actually be pg, some people don't BFPs for a while.

x

Still no sign of the bl**dy !!
Knicker watch is driving me mad! Still no symptoms at all though and i still think that if i was pg it would have shown up (even just a faint line?) on the 10ml/u test i did on Monday am. If my cycle follows the bonkers pattern it did last month then i should get AF on Friday (8 days late!), so i'm trying to hold out until saturday before i test again, to avoid the disappointment of another .

As if TTC isn't hard enough without suddenly throwing late AF's at us! Honestly! hormones have a lot to answer for!

Thanks for thinking of me though, hope all is well with you?
