Hi Nic,

I've written you a few little words of wisdom in your other thread. Come on little cyber buddy, you need a breather and then come back to this when you are relaxed and ready. TTC certainly drives us all a bit loopy every now and again and you definitely need a little more time (oh, that old chestnut I hear you say) to let your body settle down.

Not long if you consider the length of a lifetime. I can remember feeling so stressed a few months ago about all the charting and monitoring and looking back on it now, I realise it was one big waste of time and a waste of a good worry. I'm saving all my worries for something more worth while. I can't afford any more grey hairs

Nic, dont despair hun, your not alone!!!
I had m/c 3 weeks ago and now I'm on cd24 still waiting for O. I usually O around cd 21/22 and I just get the feeling its not coming this month
I also didnt have a high amount of hcg in my blood at the time either so I thought I would just O as usual this mont...but noooooooooooooo my body has other ideas!
To make matters even more confusing, Ive been using my cbfm since cd 10 and am now on my 12th HIGH reading!
I' m now hanging onto the hope that I will O a little bit later this cycle and fx you will too babe....keep hopeful. x

Hi Nic,
So sorry to hear that you are feeling down. It does not mean you aren't supposed to be trying right now. MCs just really mess up our cycles, and it is like an extra kick in the stomach after all the pain and heartache of losing your LO.
My first OV after MC was CD21, and then this cycle was CD19. It is soooooo annoying, and costing me a fortune in OPKs. Stick in there though if you can. We are all here for you,

Dont give up!!! Mc's notoriously screw things up but thats normal sweetie.. Think of it this way..your body is regulating itself, it needs time to get back from pregnant state, which you were in (and as someone said- that was great that you got pg and keep that in mind, it really helps) and back to normal ovulating stage. I know...i really know how you feel cause well, its normal and its just the way we all feel when you mc to want to get back to normal asap, and you will..just give your body some time and it will adjust itself- i promise you!!

I used to have a 31 day cycle..after the mc it was 35 days and since then i now have a 28-29 day cycles. I can only tell you chicken that i empathise so so much with you. I really do. But dont give up... what you're feeling is natural but try (as hard as it is) to give your body a breather..and if you feel like you need it, your mind as well. ttc can be so stressful..but you are honestly in a good position, although i know it doesnt feel that way right now, you did conceive on your own..it obviously means all is well in that department..keep that as your shining beacon when you feel like everything else is doom and gloom. You will get past this, and it will get back to normal..your body has been through so much and its not easy anecdotally, for it to go from one state to another just like that. be kind to yourself, and your body hun...treat yourself, book yourself a massage or similar...think of it as this period is your body's recoperating time..you will get there in the end..and the end is near, hun..i promise you. Chin up...

i know exactly how you feel i have been ttc for 5 months with no joy some i havnt ovulated much in this time either. it has put so much strain on myself and hubby that we said is it all worth it. i cant take it much more im just tired of it all. im 24 and with my other pregnancies i got caught at a drop of a hat. also im sorry to hear about your mc i know how it feels i lost a baby at almost 12 weeks it was awfull the baby just fell out of me whilst i stood up at hospital so my heart goes out to you, that was before i went on to have 2 healthy pregancies so you will get your baby we concieved 3 months after i lost no 1 baby so give it time.
