? about OV pain and ovulation

Ok, I'm a little cornfused.

I've been having definite OV pain the past 2 or 3 days. But my CM has been white and not really stretchy. When I used an online OV calculator, it said my fertile window should be July 30-Aug. 4th. So, do you actually OV when you feel the OV pain or does that mean that OV will be happening in the next couple of days?

i think when u feel the pain ur about to O, u should use opk at the time u feel this pain,then u should get a pos opk with in the next couple of days!!

I've done a lot of research on this.

According to what I've read, ov pain can happen before, during, or after ovulation. It usually lasts 6-8 hours for most women but can last up to 2 days. In my case, my ov pain comes shortly after I ovulate, long after my LH surge, about 36-48 hours after I get my peak on my CBFM. By then my CM is usually past the egg white stage, its more creamy and not stretchy. But that's just me - every one is different.
