Cos i have been on the pill for sooooooo long i don't know what AF is like off it. Yesterday i had extremly light spotting, today i thought was spotting to but it is heavier now (just looked). When do i know its if it is i will be pleased my body had a natural AF? If it is i can relax a little knowing things are settling down and enjoy some wine.

Anyone have any idea when i can be sure it's AF?

Most girls count CD1 (AF starting) as the first day of proper red flow rather than spotting. Hope that helps

If you are getting a flow to your liner then i would say that maybe its AF, if not hun hopefully it will increase over the next day or so.

Are you charting? Cos the temp dips right down around period time (some just before, some people its as it starts and for some its just after it starts) so that helps convince you it's AF.

Ooooooooo thanks guys will look at my chart now. But just put another thread and hopefully she is here. TMI alert i used a tampon and 4 hours later it was 1/3 to 1/2 full and bright red, do u think she is here? So excited this maybe day 2 of a fresh cycle, was so worried i could end up with no period for ages and subsequently not ovulate. XXX

Just looked and temp dropped yesterday, first day of very light spotting! It raised about 7-8 days ago does that sound normal? Do u think i ovulated?

it sounds like you could have, but that you might have a short luteal phase - don't worry this happens after BCP.
But if you put a link to your chart on here we can have a look for you and let you know what we think
