I'm currently CD 22. My FF chart was a bit doubtful about my ovulation date, but eventually put me at 7 DPO yesterday (with predicted ovulation date of CD 14) and as my temps had been rising, I had sore breasts and nipples etc my OH and I had decided to stop BD at CD 19. Now FF tells me I ovulated 3 days later and am only 3 DPO! I'm gutted as although we BD 8 days in a row before that and on the day of ovulation, I would have liked to have got an extra 1 in just in case. I'd just started testing with HPTs (looks like EVAP lines only) and although I know it was too early, I was building myself up to testing and sign spotting. Now I'm back by 5 days, have missed a potential day of BD and testing/AF are due when we are moving house/my birthday! I also had 4 OPKs with fainter lines than the control on CD 16 and a positive on CD 17 - I stopped testing at this point as I ran out of OPKs and have eventually removed it from my FF chart and am going by temps as it can't pinpoint an ovulation date with the OPK test on the chart.

I know I've still got a good chance as I BD'd so much before and on the day and I know that the likelihood of conception the day after ovulation is small, but it's just that extra worry for the next week and a half that if I'd only insisted to OH that we BD that extra day, we would have had an even better chance. Plus I was really excited about testing and now have to shelve the testing plans for another few interminable days. Stupid really, but I just wanted to rant.

Awww honey I'm sorry. I'd feel exactly the same if it's any consolation, you get yourself built up to when you'd be testing and AF would be due and to have that put back would drive me insane!!!

Rant away love! That must be sooo frustrating. But it is true that BD before ov is better than 'on it' - so you are still in with a chance.

This is why I gave up charting and paying attention to dates - it drove me insane!!!!

Thanks - I've been a bit more rational about it through the day. At least I'm still in with a chance, and as you say, I still BD'd on the best days. I think I was just letting my heart rule the more logical side of me and was a bit frustrated and disappointed. I POAS'd to be on the safe side and nothing tonight, as expected.

The plot thickens.....

I hadn't weed for 10 hours and so decided out of idle curiosity to POAS. I followed all of the instructions correctly this time! It came up with a really really faint line within the 5 minutes but the difference between this line is it's pink like the control line and the one I got yesterday was more clear/grey which makes me think it was an evap line. I POAS'd again (it's really quite addictive) after waiting 4 hours but got - looked much more dilute.

Could I have ovulated on CD 14 after all and be having a triphasic temp shift? I think my chart should be accessible via the link. The chart has me ovulating at CD 19 which puts me at 3 DPO - however, before my temps went so high, it had my ovulation date at CD 14. I started to have tender breasts and became a bit spotty at CD 18 too which is something I only ever get in the run up to AF which makes me wonder if I really did ovulate on CD14 and my temps are just getting higher.

Sorry for long post, but can't sleep - also not going to wee until morning! It's probably just wishful thinking and it's probably just the sign spotting ramblings of an insomniac POAS-crazed woman!

And it changes again! My OPKs got stronger until a darker line on CD 16 so I'd put that in as a positive OPK for that day, which made FF say my ovulation date was uncertain, BUT, I tested in the morning and so in theory, my OPK could have become positive later on CD 15, so I entered a positive for that day and lo and behold, my data fits with the temps and OPK now! It puts me at 7 DPO and I got some mild cramps at 4 DPO and today which gives me a bit more hope. And (sorry if TMI) my CM smells sweeter than usual.

That would mean I had 1 temp 0.1 degrees below the coverline 4 DPO, although that's when I got the cramps and apparently you can have a brief dip before your temp rises again at implantation, and mine have gone higher since then.

I really need to get off to sleep, I'm reading WAY too much into this

Hmm, I also have really impressive breast veins, which I've never noticed before (although admittedly I don't usually look for them).

Looking back, this thread looks a little ambiguous - I POAS'd yesterday and nothing within 3 mins (when I posted) but then there was a very faint line at 5. My OH can see he line as well.

Temp down to 36.3 today which is 0.1 below my predicted coverline which is a bit scary. I did another Ebay Cheapie today with 6 and a bit hours urine which was a

First Response done 3 mins ago and also looking like I thouhgt I could see a very very faint line at 1 stage but now I can't - going to wake up OH and make him look too.

I suppose I am only 8 DPO by my chart (or 4 DPO going by what it said yesterday before I put in the OPK result) and it's still early days but I'd really been hoping for a after yesterday's line.

Temp not long after checking was 36.6 so have posted temp as 36.4, just above my coverline.
