Ovusoft Charts - An Alternative to FF

Hi girls

A couple of you have expressed interest in alternatives to FF -- especially because one has to keep paying and paying to keep a VIP subscription. I thought I would just let people know about the ovusoft charting system -- based on the book 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility'. It is excellent in my view and one only has to pay once in order to have the software for good. A 15 day free trial can be downloaded from the following site:

http://www.tcoyf.com

I am planning on sticking with this system once my current FF subscriptions runs out. Like NeyNey I am also getting sick of constantly paying FF!!

The one thing I would say about ovusoft is that it is based on FAM which can be quite pedantic about the "three [high temps] over six [low temps]" rule, and that system would have said I was 1dpo when I was actually 6dpo (see FF chart below).

Yeah, yr right Insomnia, ovusoft is slightly more strict than FF about calculating ov. Although I have been using both systems for 6 cycles now and they have agreed everytime on my ov day so far.

sounds very interesting. I can see where the FAM rules might give problems, but I read TCOYF long before I started using FF, so sometimes FF's rules seem weird to me still .

I am not paying for FF and I thnk it's ok.
but I think I will give the ovusolft trial version a go for this cycle and see what to do after. Is the trial version complete? as in does it have every single feature the complete version has (just that is expires after 15 days)?

Hi Curiosa!

Yes, the trial version is complete & has all the features you get when you buy the software. Try it out & see how it goes!
