As some of you may know it was my birthday yesterday and I was given a spa voucher. I love going to the spa and am hoping to go quickly before i get that allusive BFP however i'm just wondering what everyone else's thoughts are on the matter. Afterall there must be lots of people that do things before knowing they are pregnant.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

There are certain oils that can terminate a pregnancy - a friend of mine was studying this a while ago and it can be really dangerous! Please be careful just incase you have a bean inside!

It would just be steam rooms, sauna and spa tubs etc not planning on having any treatments. It's just the heat thing really.

Hey OWO- lucky you going to a spa! They usually ask if you are having things like facials/treatments etc if you are pregnant-just tell them you think you might be and they will take that into consideration. As for swimming, hot tubs, steam baths etc just approach them as if you are pregnant already and they will guide you as to what you can and cant use etc. Some things like steambaths etc arent a good idea if you are pregnant and as long as you are cautious you can still have a great time but not endanger anything...i think the key is you've just got to enjoy it as much as possible and relax....ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

I think its to do with increasing ur blood pressure in a hot tub. Im never supposed to use them (what what ive read) due to having a heart problem

I was thinking of waiting until AF shows in a couple of weeks, but then it she doesn't then i will definetely not go.
But i really want to go, i love the spa. Which is why i was hoping to get it in before then and then i can say to myself "Well i didn't know i was pregnant" and help with my guilt. Such a dilema as there is only 6 months on the voucher Arhhh

ok so if i stay out of the hot tub so i'm not submerged and just use the steam rooms. What do people think to that?
I can really see myself talking myself out of this. I really don't want to endanger any little bean that might be in there, but then TTC can take months and i still want to enjoy life. Arhh

AF due on 29th July. I can't test until then because last time i tested two days before AF and got BFN even though i was, so i think i'm one of those people that has to wait until afterwards.

Sounds like you would be better off just waiting 2 weeks. Then you would atleast know what to do for the best.

Ohhhh Im testing between 23rd and 29th!! (dodgy cycles so not sure).
