to everyone who is ttc for longer than 6 months, I know it is hard. I ttc for over 3 yrs to get my middle child and we had all the tests and everything was ok but it was a simple matter of me not ovulating with every cycle and so I was put on Clomid and conceived 2 cycles later. It is always so bad but you put alot of energy and your heart into ttcing and it hurts every month. We had an app at the IVF Dr's the week we found out we were expecting so hold on in there and just try to relax hun xxx

Sorry you're having such a tough time. What tests have you had so far? I found the testing phase to be very hard because it is not only invasive but there are so many tests to be carried out before/if you get an answer.

I know you're feeling so low right now, i've been there many a time, but I have always managed (even if its taken a few weeks) to pull myself up, dust myself off and carry on, because at the end of the day I just wasn't prepared to give up, and I bet you aren't either.

Enjoy your break away, clear your head, sit down with DH and work out 'where too from here?' and then continue your journey xx

I personally take offense to comments like that. When there is a known PROBLEM (like in my case for example) no amount of 'relaxing' is going to change that.

Even in couples with no know problem or those that haven't been trying for long who claim they 'took a break and then got pregnant', I personally don't think it was 'the break' that did it. Firstly, there is NO scientific evidence to suggest that stress causes infertility...2nd of all, the longer you try the better your chances, so I don't buy into that AT ALL.

Infact, we've spent the last 8 months (TTC almost 2yrs all up) doing 0 timing just having sex when we felt like it, oh and geez (note sarcastic tone) we've even been on a holiday too so i'm SO confused as to why I haven't yet gotten my BFP

I hope that wasn't too harsh (could be the hormones talking ) but it really annoys me when people tell me (and others) to relax or forget about it and it will happen because they have NO idea what they're talking about!!!

I know how frustrating it is hun, OH & I have been trying for baby number 2 for 20 month now, it's emotionally draining, and at the end of every month when AF arrives i keep asking why me?...why us?...why can't we get pregnant? This month though, we aren't ''trying'' as such like yourself, and i've also resorted to eating healthy and perhaps loosing a few pounds before we start again. I hope you get the result you so desperatley want very soon, but i just wanted to say your not alone hun. keep your chin up, alough i know it is very hard.

Yeh, I agree, relaxing does f-all so that's why I'm back on BnB, obsessing, tee hee! O well, chin up, onto the next cycle hey? Anyway FJL, we've only had the preliminary pregestorene (sorry about spelling) and sperm tests and all absolutely fine. When it hits the 12 month mark (in Nov), we'll have more tests.
