I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey Trixie,
I'm sorry you're feeling so down but you gotta stay positive. You have a great guy that you're doing this with so you're not alone and if you ever feel like you are - you have us girlies to talk to!
I know it's not easy I've been "trying" ever since i came off depo 15 months ago and still no or even real AF for that matter, but keep your chin up cos when it does happen it'll be even more special!

I'm Currently Feeling: | awww honey, i do understand, i'm on cycle 10 too, although we're noth trying all out if that makes sense.
Theres lots of women that try for a very long time and the dr's can't find a reason why they haven't fallen sooner.
Perhaps you need a break and to take your mind off things completely, its odd how the world works and you never know you may fall sooner once the pressures off.
Either way i wish you all the luck in the world |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Trixie, I've been TTC 2.5 yrs now and when you have been TTC a long time you see that you can bump along quite nicely for a while, and then sometimes some cycles will hit you harder than others, you feel like jacking it all in, but in reality you know you never will as long as there is a chance.
I heartily recommend taking a break, and by that I mean a complete break not just from TTC and charting etc etc but from places like here too, hard as it is!! It really helps you get your perspective back, and you come back to it fresh and positive and enthusiastic, ready for another shot at it.
Sometimes when all around you are seemingly getting pg no problems, and the well meaning posts on here that come from the heart but CAN whip you up into hysteria getting carried away with each little twinge and analysing it with everyone here, it's really not always helpful! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Loula's right - every now and again i think we all have one cycle, where we've gone the extra mile, made the extra effort, done something different, been all positive and really thought it was going to work... only for the to come and bang on your door. I had this last cycle - felt like i hit rock bottom when AF came. Couldn't stop crying, just felt like i had the stuffing knocked out of me. It was horrible. I think you've just got to have a good cry, let it all out and give yourself some time to pick yourself back up. I couldn't even look at this board some days a couple of weeks ago i was so low.
Trixie, you've just got to remember you've had no indication that there is anything wrong with you - you have regular af, hubbie has good sperm, you are ov-ing. It's just "one of those things" that it takes some people longer than others! After all, they say there is only a 25% chance of getting pg each cycle. Well if that's true, you can understand why the laws of probability prove that some people must take a lot longer than others for it happen.
Plenty of people on this board have been trying for one or two years and then suddenly caught on. That's not coincidence, that's because its just the way it happens for some of us. We'll all get there in the end!!! |

| Thanks gals, you're all so sweet. SwissMiss, you give us hope too, little preggo lady, we're all so chuffed!
Anyway, I feel better today. I will take the advice about just stepping away for a few weeks. I'll come back here when it approaches AF time just cos I enjoy the buzz of the 1-week wait but for 3 weeks, I must try to stay away from TTC stuff and that includes here (yeh, right, how long will that last?!). Once hubby is back tomorrow, am gonna steer clear.
I might update my blog every now and again and am in touch with a coupla girls on here via email so they'll update me on any news.
Anyway, thanks again (BTW, no spotting anymore but am expecting full blown AF tomorrow so have no deluded hope!). x |

| Trixie, a break away from the counting sounds a great idea. I think you should go zorbing on the hills in your avatar or parachute jumping or scuba diving. Go and do things that your sensible ttc side says aren't good for you and future bump lol. All the adrenaline will feel like afresh start for you, cleaning out the feeling of watching the clock and cycle counting. Give yourself a breather for a while. With a bit of luck ...... well you never know, enjoy yourself again. | | | | Status: Offline
