I think the thing is that we are embarassed to talk about using fertility aids with friends, I know I haven't told anyone about temping every morning!! I think its quite possible lots of women get pregnant using these products but they don't discuss it with family and friends. |

Unless a woman was doing something majorly wrong and ound out about it through temping or whatever, or had something wrong and rectified it with knowledge from someone off the boards etc - I really honestly think that nothing we do brings us any closer to that bfp. It'll happen when it happens.
I know exactly what you mean though I am taking a break this month and feel a lot saner for it I have to say, last month I went a little cuckoo! Highly recommend it! |

Also, it's quite possible that when people get pregnant that they have been trying for longer than we know or that they care to admit!
I think it's good to get to know your body by taking BBT, and monitoring CM, but that I don't think it necessarily gives us more chance to get pregnant. There are so many factors involved in getting pregnant, unfortunately! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've stopped temping and when i've used my 10 sticks this next cycle, if i get my PEAK on the usual days, i might not use my CBFM and go totally au natural! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Good question, my OH is of the thought that women for 100's of years have concieved without any assistance from vit's, pre-seed, temping etc so he likes the natural route, whereas I am of the "well it can't help to give nature a helping hand, can it?"... Will have to wait and see... Hope you get your BFP asap...x. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am ditching everything and going au natural this cycle, b/c for the first time ever I am not looking forward to sex with my husband bc of peeing on sticks, waiting for the PreSeed to settle through, temping and all that. I will keep taking my vitamins and Agnus Castus only. Plus all this is wearing down on my cash, between OPK's and PreSeed, it's expensive after awhile!
......
I say this now, but maybe I will still temp, that's about it. I'm not going to go nuts with everything else. Also, I want to have spontaneous sex with my hubby again, full of romance and everything else.
Good luck ladies! We need some more BFP's!!! |

| Miel, we are so similar - I 100% know where you're coming from and frankly, I've had enough of trying. I believe it's important to pinpoint when you O but once you do, that's it, just let nature take it's course. Then if still nothing for a year, go see you dr.
I am sick and tired of this now. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey Miel, I have to say that having gone through the m/c recently and having hubby away again at the moment, I'm really relaxed about the ttc thing. Purely and simply because I know I can't do anything about it! I can't think about ovulation or the tww or anything else ttc related. And actually it's been quite a nice experience. It's been a year now since ttc slowly began taking over my life. (and two years before that of nagging my hubby to start!)
I don't think I am going to start temping and charting again as I've realised what it is to be relaxed again! Hopefully that can only be a good thing. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Last time TTC I was so 'organised' with everything for well over 12 momths. I knew my cycle inside out...I knew what every sympton meant. I even knew what steps the hospital would go though when we finally got referred to them. What I didn't know was what an unholy cock up of everything they would make!
They lost records, lost bloods, lost the results, took blood on the wrong day....ordered a Hysterosalpingogram for the middle of my period, and generally made me feel like I was even less likely to succeed in TTC with their help, so one day i complelety lost it. I rang and cancelled every appointment, threw the thermometer in the bin, put the CBFM in the bottom drawer (too expensive to throw away!), deleted the spreadsheet with all my cycle's on, went out and bought a huge bottle of vodka and lots of tonic, drank it all in one month, slept with my husband for pleasure, and fell pregnant!
Speaks volumes, huh? |
