I'm Currently Feeling: | Happy birthday Owo. Hope you enjoy your day, and if there is some birthday BDing, then enjoy. Maybe you OVed late this month for a birthday surprise. He certainly should NOT be doing the playstation thing today!!!
I managed to get a grudging BD from my DH this morning. I just wish he could TRY to be a bit more positive about it. Any day apart from Sunday, he just makes it so obvious that he really does not want to. I'm starting to understand why most people who've been together 13 years just do not have babies!
Have a great birthday anyway!!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks Tansey for the birthday wishes
aflgiht84 I think it all comes down to feeling like a man. Your OH probably feels less of a man if his sperm is at fault. This is basically what my DH told me last night, he felt really bad that he didn't feel up to it for two nights when i was ovulating because and i quote "As a man it is my job to be able to get it up and do the manly thing". I mean OMG have they not evolved yet!!!!
I really feel for you, You are having to do loads of tests, you'd think he could see how important this it to you. I mean Guys are always shall we say "entertaining themselves". It does put things in perspective hearing your story that i really should count my blessings that i haven't had to go down your route yet.
Good Luck, i really hope you get that real soon.

xxxx | Thanks Nikki.
You could be onto something with the no babies for couples that have been together for ages. It seems that if you don't have them quick then it's going to be a chore. We have been together for 6 and a half yrs, lets just say it would have been a lot less stressful earlier on, if you get my drift!!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | The thing he doesn't understand is he's not at fault but the gyne has to have clear proof of this before they'll treat me! The last test he got "stage fright!" so amount wasn't shall we say above average so they want him to test again to make sure he's ok too. Which i know normally isn't a problem (sorry TMI!)
I think after my rant and storming out to work half hour early he knows how much he's upset me! | | | | Status: Online

We have been together for 6 and a half yrs, lets just say it would have been a lot less stressful earlier on, if you get my drift!!! | I used to think that the reason my parents and their generation stopped having kids into later marriage was that they started using protection and making sure no more came. I now realise that they probably just dropped the sex to once a fortnight and voila: no more babies!!!
I agree with you: if we'd TTC in the first couple of years we'd have managed it first go, but after so many years, trying to switch back on the "new couple" sex thing is almost impossible. Well: I can manage it, as I am the one who wants a baby, but he just doesn't seem bothered or able!!

I think after my rant and storming out to work half hour early he knows how much he's upset me! | Men moan about us women being emotional and over reacting, but then the only way they listen is when we are emotional and storm out. When i stormed out the other night as was gone for a while, DH admitted that he was worried sick about me coming back. He was really sweet after that. If it didn't work then we would't storm out. Don't they get that? | | | | Status: Offline
