Confused,anyone else the same??

My periods at the mo are rangeing from 32 - 40 days, last month was 35, so according to the different charts, it says based on a 35 day week I should ovulate at the end of this week!

Ok thats fine, but for the last 2 days my boobs have been so painful, I know I have started taking up running but this happened last month too!

Does anyone else suffer from these from the middle of the month until the AF begins?

I'm only worried as I haven't had any signs of ovulation yet, and if my boobs are already sore does that mean I might not be ovulating???????

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Hun

I think a lot of girls get sore boobs around ovulation due to the increase in hormones.

Are you using OPK's to help pinpoint your ovulation? I think these would be very helpful in this case - so you are not worrying un necessarily.

Ok, will have to take a look!!! Do you have to use them all month, or just around that time?

I get mine from access diagnostics - they are little strips which you dip into your urine (a bit like pregnancy tests) but they detect the surge in LH which you produce immediately before you ovulate, so as soon as you see 2 lines you know you will ovulate in the next day or so. xx

Depending on the length of your cycles you would start testing a few days before the middle and keep testing until you get a positive result. You should probably start using them around CD14 if your cycles are approx 35 days xx
